Losing xbox live feed!!!

Im using a direct connection but my Cat-5 is 25 feet in length-.would a smaller say 15 feet stop this from happening????

it only happens once in a while!

i use a 50' cable. not sure if that's the problem.

Depends on the quality of the cable. If it's a homemade one, try a different cable or a shorter run. If the ends are molded on, it's probably not cable length. It may be a bad cable though....

cable is from RS...24awg cat 5????

was on tonight and only lost connection once!

Nope. Cat5 ethernet can run up to 300 meters, without a problem. Now as for your cable, I'd suggest that you just try a new one.
