Holiday Cheer Xbox bundle announced

Heh, not gonna comment, bundle speaks for itself.

http://www.gamespot.com/xbox/news/news_6075095.html

Microsoft announces that it will release an Xbox console bundle containing a two-month Live subscription and two games next month.

Microsoft has today announced that it will release a $179.99 Xbox Holiday Cheer bundle containing copies of Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Tetris Worlds Live, and a two-month trial subscription to Xbox Live on October 15. Although the single box bundle won't be available until next month, the promotion will be available at many official Xbox retailers as early as September 17.

Clone Wars?

Why would you put a game in a bundle that is so bad it would turn people off to not only the XBOX but video games as a whole.

Yikes.

There are a number of great games that would make a superb bundle. This is almost as bad as the GT & JSRF bundle. I bought it cause it was cheap and certainly not because of the games.

I don't think I'll ever buy a bundled system ever again out of personal protest at how crappy and lame they are.

Already knew about that since it's been mentioned a ton of times.

Mech is boring and I haven't played it in a long time. If it wasn't for being LIVE enables that game would be as bad as Clone Wars.

Splinter Cell is a great way to get people to buy it.

It seems like only yesterday Splinter Cell was an XBOX only game. After them pulling that stunt, and luring me into buying an XBOX mainly for that game, they can shove the bundle and every other leftover copy of SC where the sun doesn't shine.

eh? Maybe you didn't like the games but based on reviews and the majority opinion these are both pretty good games.

I happen to love them both but I can't believe you think that Clone wars and tetris worlds live are better games.

Oh well... I must just be a Sega nut
