Can you just watch cinematics on metal gear solid 1, 2, or 3 if you beat it?
I really like the metal gear solid game cinematics, but I wanted to know if I play and beat any of the games, on any of the systems, can I just watch the cinematics, like in doa3, or do I still have to play through? And also wondering if anyone knows if metal gear solid 2: substance or snake eater will be coming to the cube.

That means that MGS2 is FULL of cinematics.. infact to many. People disliked it for the reason that there was More then enough cinematics for the amount of game play that you actually had to do.
Please use caps in caution as it does mean you are yelling on the wonderful world wide web.
as for my suggestion.. record the cinematics if you really just want to watch them later because there is not many games out there that will let you bypass the game and watch the film.

If you beat MGS1 there is a mode in options that allows you to watch all of the cut scenes and codec moments in order. After finishing the game I sat through all 3 hours of them.
And yes it really is about 3 hours !

Metal Gear Solid 3 isn't going to be out until Nov 2004, so its just a little hard to comment about a game no one is going to play for over a year. Metal Gear Solid 2 wasn't as good, not because of the cinematics, but because the story was weak and stupid.
