Demo version?? I must have missed something. Is there a demo that's available?

Guys: I no longer have my original SOCOM headset and I can't find another USB headset locally for under $40.00 bucks, so I haven't been able to play my Beta copy.

Does anyone know where to find a cheap USB headset?

If you don't mind getting a used one, you can pick one up at a local Gamestop for $19.99. You can check the inventory for nearby stores, but I'm not sure how accurate it is.

i have been playing my socom 2 beta nonstop even thought i keep getting booted. i saw you in a game dasmooth my name on there is jewdriver. im getting awesome with the M79 i get that and 24 frag grenades to shoot

Hey JW - I had a talknet headset and it would not work with Socom 2, so don't get that one...mine is collecting dust in a drawer somewhere..

I wouldn't worry about having a headset if you want to play. There are plenty of absolutely silent rooms especially if you join a respawn game.
