Anyhow, does that mean there's no point in paying for these cards? What are the 2 NES Game cards that you're taking about? Do I *have* to scan them in with the E-Reader or can I just use the password myself? Are these passwords only used once? Meaning, if I use it myself, I can't send it to anyone else? More questions, I know - but where better to ask than here? ;)

Hey if it's between 8am-4:30pm CST, I'll be here. :D

The 2 NES games you can only get on e-Card are Mario Bros. and Ice Climber and you HAVE to scan them (for obvious reasons, there were no passwords on those cards).. as for no point paying for the cards, that all depends, they're on clearance at BB and Buy 1 Get 1 Free at Gamestop, so it's not all that bad. Now again, if you scan a card you get 1 piece of furniture, if you send the password to any animal in your village, you get a different piece of furniture, meaning 2 on each card.. so while you don't need an e-reader, it's helpful because the better item is usually the scan item, and you get the scan items instantly, the passwords you will have to wait a day or 2 to get your item. You can scan or use the passwords as often as you want but only once per day per password.

Well I changed the title in my post, a mod will have to do the rest.

Widescreen TV for Leroy in Zebes:

A2o7OzLNsXW@BP
TWo%79PHPQMcyQ

I recommend you leave the TV turned off and just use it as a cool looking piece of furniture. It gets annoying fast when it's turned on.

PixyJunket 10-20-03 05:03 PM

Thanks for the TV!! Yeah, it doesn't have something cool like the Apple TV or Retro TV.. I wonder if there are any others..

BTW.. so far I can say the 5-6 line letters are working great!! :D

Quake1028 10-20-03 06:02 PM

Pixy: I only meant those 6 games. Only reason I have the AR is because it was cheaper to get that than to import a Freeloader. I haven't even used the AR part, and I probably never will besides these games on AC. I don't like cheating myself out of the experience :D.

Quake1028 10-20-03 06:05 PM

If anyone has anything cool they would like to send a n00b, John in Arcadia would appreciate it :).

Good to hear, good to hear!!

Hmm.. something for a newbie.. I don't know. :D

Better upgrade your house before you starting asking for items since you wont have room to put stuff.

I have the biggest upgrade and I still don't have room for stuff. I have leaves and fossils and clothes and umbrellas and sapplings and captain's logs lying all over the place!

sdcrym 10-20-03 11:22 PM

Yeah, right now my basement is filled with gyroids, rare carpets and wallpapers, candy, october tickets, and items from Gulliver. I already spend a couple of hours a day running around the town, so I don't want to spend any more organizing my junk.

PixyJunket 10-21-03 08:27 AM

I have a question about the special holiday visitors (like the upcoming Jack), now I know you can keep doing certain things to keep getting the rare furniture from them, but do they give you random pieces from thier set, or will they give you one that you don't already have? Say I wanted to get a full set of the Halloween furniture, would I have to bring like 30 pieces of candy because I'll probably get repearts, or just enough candy for how pieces there are in the set?

PixyJunket 10-21-03 05:09 PM

Bump? Anybody?

I don't know about Jack, as this will be my first Halloween. If I had to guess, I'd say that it's probably random which piece you get. I know with Sahara, she'll ask you if the carpet she's offering is the one you want, and give the option for you to back out and come back for a different one, whereas Wendell will give you one wallpaper and that's that until the next time it comes to town. So we'll have to wait and see.

 at the corrected thread title spelling.

PixyJunket 10-21-03 05:23 PM

Cool. Guess I'll just stockpile more candy in the basement in case. Halloween furniture seems cool.

Outlaw 10-21-03 08:54 PM

yes, yes, yes,

All I'm gonna say is make sure you have a good supply of candy :).

PixyJunket 10-22-03 08:09 AM

Ugh.. I've found ONE fossil buried in my town sine Saturday. :(

whotony 10-22-03 09:47 PM

i havent touched my AC in about 7 weeks.

before that it was about 10 straight days of playing.

what should i expect when i go back in?

dancinns 10-22-03 11:46 PM

I guess I better start this game back up again before Halloween.

whotony: I'm in the same boat. I'll expect the town to be overrun with weeds and everyone bitching at me. :)

nickdawgy 10-23-03 03:00 AM

I am like you guys, I haven't played in about a month. I am thinking about heading back to town as well. It'd be fun to get some Halloween stuff.

:D

Otto 10-23-03 06:54 AM

You're going to need a hell of a lot of candy, because the villagers will chase you around and get it from you.

PixyJunket 10-23-03 07:05 AM

I'm still trying to figure out if Jack will give you duplicate items before you have the full set.. nobody seems to know! :)

I appear to be missing 1 piece of my blue furniture set. :(

PixyJunket 10-23-03 03:01 PM

Has anybody else dried up on fossils before? I used to find 5 a day, now I'm lucky if even 1 appears?

I'm thinking it might be because I had so many on queue to The Museum, but I'm just curious..

nickdawgy 10-23-03 03:03 PM

I have had a few fossil dry days.....

PixyJunket 10-23-03 03:06 PM

I have all 19 NES games now. :D

Man, if only Zelda II, Metroid and Kid Icarus were on there. I'd cry from happiness.

I think it may be because the autumn colors make the Xs hard to see. I remember at one point last fall I started having trouble finding fossils. But once snow covered the ground (starting in December), the Xs stood out and fossils were easy to find. In the meantime, just try to look closer and you may find some Xs that you overlooked.

How did you end up getting the games that were from the codes on the website before you got the game?
