Try codejunkies if you're using an AR. Otherwise, one of the walkthroughs at Gamefaqs has an item list with codes.

My wife played this game this weekend after not playing since early spring. there were tons of weeds in every acre and lots of roaches in the house. No one had moved out of town, tho.

I have a question about the trading cards.. I bought a pack and all they are all characters, when you scan them into the e-Reader they talk to you. What do the passwords add to your town when you input them into the actual game?

The passwords give you certain items, and such. There are codes for certain ones like NES games also. I have found Punch-Out this way. You just go to the store, and tell the store owner the password, and he gives you your "present" right away.

It's a really fun game, although I haven't played it in a couple of weeks (hello roaches, lol). It's hard to play this game when I still haven't finished Zelda, and Metroid Prime, am into playing Madden 2004 and NBA Street 2, and just got an Xbox with 5 games :D

I've never used any of the e-Reader cards, but from what I've read, there are three ways to use each character card, with different results.[list=1][*]Scan the card[*]Mail the code to any character in your town[*]Mail the code to the character on the card.[/list=1]

Once you get the game and if you have an E-reader you

1. go to the post office and talk to the e-tm(get ha ha ha)
2. download the card reader program to the e-reader
3. Then swipe the card.
4. go to your mailbox and you will have a nice letter with a gift attached.

If you don't have the e-reader you can mail the code to any character in town.

I've been playing since launch and still going strong. I only check in for fifteen minutes a day but it's enough time to pull weeds, check Nookington's and mail of fossils for money. I've caught all the fish and have all the fossils and paintings. I actually only need 9 more K.K. songs. I do have a bunch of duplicate e-cards but all I want to trade for are design cards. Start another trade thread and see how it goes. Did you get all the Nintendo Power and Tips 'n Tricks passwords? Gamefaqs should have them posted. I've got a whole Super Mario theme from Nintendo and a 'Nintendo Bus-bench' from T 'n T.

I am taking advantage of Gamestop's buy one get one free e-card deal and I think I have every rare card EXCEPT Ice Climber and Mario Bros. :(

Heh.. I'm the opposite. I have BARELY played my Xbox since I got a Gamecube last year. Nintendo's first party titles seem to just pull me in for months at a time, and every time I think I'll be able to free some time up for some of my Xbox games, I end up with another Nintendo game. Argh.

I got my Gamecube in July, and the Xbox a few weeks ago, so I am still getting into the Xbox. Even though it is sitting, I'd never get rid of the Gamecube, I like it too much :D

Nope. Any code to you can be used as many times as you like. Yes, you can use a code and sell the item for infinite cash if you like. It's a pain to put the code in over and over though.

The only restriction is that Nook will only take three codes per session. That is, once you tell Nook three codes, he'll say he's out of items. No problem, go back to your house, save and quit the game, then immediately start the game again. Voila, three more items, no need to restart.

Still, the Pear is a bit useless to use over and over. I'd buy a pear and plant it. Wait a few days for the tree to grow, then you've got three pears. Plant them too. If the tree dies, then you can try again. It'll die in 1 day if it dies at all. If not, it'll grow in three days and produce fruit in 2 or 3 more.

Get a code from someone (anyone) for every type of fruit, and then you're set to produce all your own fruit. Few notes: coconuts only grow by the ocean, or on the island (if you have a GBA link cable and a GBA). Your island probably has coconuts on it already, so you won't need a code for it, because you can go over there and bring some back to plant on your beach.

Cool, hmm coconuts only by the ocean..? Probably why the ones I tried to plant are teh dead.

I am loving this game, one of my girlfriends came over last night and I visited her town and ran wild. I sent flirty mails to her roommate, sent mail to her animals asking them to move to my town, proclaimed supreme rule over her town on the bulletin board, and attacked people with my net. This was of course after she visited my town and did nothing interesting. Hehe.

My town is overrun by cats!! I have like 4 or 5 of them!! I want more squirrels gargh!!

Now if only I could get those NES games that USED to be on the website.. Donkey Kong Jr is like one of my favorite arcade games.. :(

Yeah.. I'm watching the clock getting ready. Since I just got it I only have 5 raffle tickets but I'm hoping for a Clu Clu Land.

OH!! I am really pissed. I got this awesome peeing statue (you know the ones) and YES, it was animated.. and the hippo skank took it from me, I had no choice!! All I got was a carpet in retrun!! I am so angry. Argh. If I can't rebuy that from the catalog today I'm gonna kill that hippo.

I feel your pain dude. The best thing you can do is write them a nasty letter-then they'll show your visiting friends the letter. It's worth a laugh. I've written "snoochie-boochies" to about every animal that's lived in Hell.

Hey, if enough people are still playing or just getting into it, I'd be willing to keep another trade community going.

Well, you learned a valuable lesson. When you have something in your inventory that you want to keep, don't talk to anybody. They always take the best stuff from you. On the other hand, if you want to get rid of stuff, sometimes it's better to try to trade with others than to just go sell stuff. Keep the stuff you don't want in your inventory when you make the daily rounds.

If there's a non-fish, bug, etc. item that you don't want taken, just drop it in one of your old letters. It's a good way to increase the size of your inventory, also.
