socom is probably the only game on PS2 that could get me to play a PS2 again. I loved that game so much... Then all the cheaters showed up and ruined it. At $29 you are getting a damn fun game.
This has to be some sort of a record.

lethal, I may do that. I haven't used the PS2 for anything but a dvd player for my bedroom lately but that may soon change. Just bought a house and it should be finished being built next month or early november. First purchase when I get it is a big screen HDTV for the bedroom and the xbox will probably go there. If so, I might just hook up the ps2 in one of the living rooms and get the network adapter for the ps2 again. When is socom2 coming out?

Nah, I've seen some threads where the first post is already thread crapping... 
Fry's really surprises me. Most of the time, they take the competition's advertised prices and beat it by a few bucks. But sometimes they just mark down games for the heck of it. The funny thing is, they still have a ton of older games that are full price, and won't sell in a million years. I mean, they still have Sega Soccer Slam for full price, but I can get Chaos Legion or Socom w/ headset for under 30...
