Pokemon Pinball
Either Advance War title (I or II)
The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past

Mr Driller 2 or Mr Driller A (imports, but easy to play and ADDICTIVE as hell).

If you have friends with GBA's I will second the Zelda recommendation and play the multi-player game, it's probably the most fun GBA game ever.

I've spent hours on Advance Wars I and have really enjoyed it. For nostalgia, Doom II is another good title. I just got the GBA to GC add on so I can play the GBA games on my tv which is a nice supplement.

Final Fantasy Tactics Advance will be out in most places tomorrow. Definitely worth picking up if you're a tactical RPG fan.

I'm not aware of any Mr. Driller game available for the GBA...and if it did come out as an import, it must have slipped under my radar. From where did you purchase it, and how much did it set you back, if you mind me asking?

I bought them both as they came out in Japan, $50 a pop. They can now be found rather often on eBay for $10-$20.

I'd go with #2 if I had a choice.

I finally caved in and got a SP this weekend I had purchased final fantasy tactics advance from best buy earlier at 22.99 after the 5 dollar gamers coupon so I was playing that.

I kinda gave up hope about the SP for 30% off at KB toys since the settlement will probably not cover consoles and games.

Anyways, enjoying the game a lot and really like threads like this so I can get an idea of what games to get in the future.

Try a search, there has been a few of these "best GBA games" threads. You'll probably find more reccommendations that way, as many (like myself) won't take the time to list ours again.

yup, i'll get advance wars 2 for sure. i've been convinced by people to pick up advance wars 1 also... said story wasn't critical or anything, but it's just more of a good game. and for $20 or so, it's not too much of a expenditure.

Lots of discussion about GBA's "hidden gems" HERE. You definitely don't want to miss out on any of those, and the best part is that they can all be had for fairly cheap.
