Anyone know how to beat that stupid plant boss, Flaahgra is its name I think....it kicks my butt everytime I face it.....I am too slow, it's too fast, lol....

wonderful....I finally beat it, only to fall in some lava in the next area....of course, before I got to save....now I get to do all of it over again....lovely

This is the one where you have to hit those solar panels right? That was tough for me too (although not nearly as tough as one of the later bosses).

I think if you attack the plant directly it will be stunned for a little while, that way you can run around and hit the panels until he recovers. It might be quicker to roll to the next target but I can't remember if thats what I did. Since you already did it, it shouldn't be too hard next time .

Yeah, he became surprisingly easier after fighting him a few more times.....I just stunned him after I hit each solar panel again, that way I'd have more time....I barely survived, lol

Plus on the second time through, I found a save point I missed.

The lock-on dash is your best friend, BTW.. learn it, love it.

I can't seem to get past the really hot room where she dies in a matter of seconds, am I missing a heat suit or something?

Yes.. you get it after defeating Flaahgra.

The Varia Suit power-up should be in the same room as the defeated boss. It should be a red "S" logo.

I am loving this game, very very cool. I love a good challenge. Three cheers for Gamecube.



Oh, can I say that I DESPISE the boost ball upgrade? Dang that thing is hard to get the hang of, lol
