Whats your favorite puzzle/pick up and play games?

So as the subject line asks, what's your fav puzzle & pick up and play games? By pick-up-and-play game I mean games like Super Monkey Ball and Marble Madness (is there an official term for these kinds of games?

I was never really a Tertris man myself, instead opting for the more cutesy but just as addictive (IMHO) Bust-A-Move. That game is just fun as all get out to just pop in for an hour of four. When I need more of a challenge I go for some Intelligent Cube. I enjoyed Super Monkey Ball 2 at first but it got so damn hard so fast. I am in awe of people who are good at that game.

Devil Dice for the PS1. The game is now included in Bombastic for the PS2.

even if you don't like traditional tetris, you have to try Tetris Attack for snes. That game is awesome. Everyone I know loves this game. My favorite puzzle game. You just see more and more combos and chains the more you play.

Heh, as soon as I read the title I thought "Marble Madness"

I guess shooters and arcade games would be more suited for this category. Pick any of them and try "one crediting" them.

For just straight pick up and play fun I reach for Wario Wario Inc. Super Puzzle Fighter for good puzzle action.

Puzzle Fighter all the way. That game rocks esp. in multiplayer mode.

IQ was pretty sweet as well.

Advance Wars 2. I spent over 100 hours on that game. I'll probably pick it up again someday (to play, I haven't sold it or anything).

Any of the Super Mario's. I've put in a couple of weeks on Mario Advance 2: SMW. I'm 15 levels away from having all Yoshi coins (and I already cleared all the secret exits, Star Worlds, and Special Worlds, so I got the different world after you get all 96 goals). After I get all Yoshi coins, then it's on to get all Peach coins. I wouldn't do it all over again because I hated some worlds with a passion, but once you beat it all you can go to any world and I'll definitely be playing some worlds over and over again for a long while. I don't plan to revisit about 5 of them so that leaves ~95% of the world to revisit.

I love to play Dr. Wario from Wario Micro Games.

Denki Blocks! was fun until it got incredibly hard. I spent an hour on some of those puzzles.

He speaks the truth! Tetris Attack is awesome! I think its coming out in the Nintendo Puzzle Collection for Gamecube.

Another favorite of mine is Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo. The ability to combine gems and pull off combos is fun.

And of course, Wario Ware is the ultimate pick up and play game. I haven't seen any other game do it any better than that one.

And you should play Mr. Driller too!

Devil Dice is one of the most addicting games I've ever played. I'm always like "Hmm.. I'll play it for a few minutes just to waste some time" and it usually lasts about an hour and a half. Tecmo Super Bowl is always a game I can go back and play a quick game as well.

Intelligent Qube for the PS1 is the best puzzle game around, if you can find it.
