Is it just my badluck on bad discs?

I can't figure this one out. When I owned a gamecube, I bought about 20 games and never had one bad disc. For my Ps2 I have bought about 40 games and never had a bad disc. My Xbox I have bought about 30 games and have exchanged 4 discs because they were bad. 3 of them gave me that stupid dirty disc and the latest just kept freezing up. What is up with such a high percentage of bad discs for the xbox? Am I the only one having this constant bad luck with xbox games? I also have the worst luck with those demo discs that come with the xbox magazine, seems like 1 out of 5 of those freeze up too.

Maybe a combination of bad luck, and having a picky drive in your x-box that won't read any discs with the slightest imperfections.

Sounds like the Xbox is the problem, I know mine was screwy as hell before I sent it to Microsoft, after that not one freeze or dirty disc message

Hmmm...I'll have to send my in for warranty repair then. Just wasn't sure. Recently I bought Madden, I got a dirty disc error. I exchanged the game and it worked fine. Last night I got Fever and now it freezes on me but I've been able to play Soul Calibur 2 without a problem.

Yep, definitely sounds like you got a crappy drive that's just really picky with disks.
