A l'occasion d'une conférence de presse en Allemagne qui s'est déroulée avant le Games Convention, Andy Mooney, le Président du conseil de Disney Consumer Products, aurait officiellement confirmé que le développement de l'Action-RPG Kingdom Hearts 2 avec la collaboration de Square-Enix continuait normalement. Les premiers détails du jeu ainsi que sa date de sortie devraient être dévoilés durant le prochain Tokyo Game Show. On évoque également une série TV Kingdom Hearts. A suivre.
