Sega NFL 2K4 or Madden NFL 2004 ?
Hi all,
I'm just a casual gamer, but I always love to play football. I got hooked on the sega 2k1 a few years back for the sega dreamcast. Awesome game....does anyone know when Sega 2K4 is coming out on Xbox ?? I haven't heard any hype.
I haven't reallyplayed much Madden, so I can't really make a decision on which I like better. For the folks who have had amply experience in both, which do you think is the better buy ?? I only have enough green backs and time for one game, so I want to make sure I get the tightest one on the market.
Suggestions ?? Thoughts ??

That is what I heard. I think 2k4 is your best choice on xbox because you can't go online with madden. Fever is going to be tied into the new sports league so that might be worth looking at also.

NFL2K4 is a great game that will be on Xbox, and it will be LIVE compatable.
I'm getting Fever 2004 but, I think I'm the only one getting it. !
I want it for XSNSports and Read and lead passing!

Madden 2004 review from IGN......
(The entire review is 5 pages long)
9.5 Presentation
User-friendly menus even shout out to users what's new in the game. The tutorial breaks down everything you need to learn from hot routes to Playmaker control, and is the best use of the Monday Night
8.5 Graphics
From the player tats on their arms to the dreads on their heads, the detail is amazing. If only the animations could blend as well as Sega's ESPN.
7.0 Sound
Killer Mike and Outkast provide the right beats for the game, even if Al Michaels and Madden are off of theirs.
9.5 Gameplay
The best passing game in football with DB's who actually come to play. Playmaker control adds a whole new dimension.
9.5 Lasting Appeal
Ownership mode will turn you into Jerry Jones in no time. The only option missing is plastic surgery...well, that and online.
9.4
