Wasn't Splashdown II supposed to be out by now?

I thought it was supposed to come out today or yesterday, but I cannot locate it. Alas...

It's out today, called Splashdown: Rides Gone Wild. EB had it, but Toys R Us didn't get it and Best Buy and the other chain stores are always a few days behind. And it's only $39.99.

Hey no problem. So far this game is a total blast. There is a ton of stuff to unlock, and the new tracks and the changing course/backgrounds are very cool without being too distracting.

I could do without the really dumb character voices and the long load times, but those are not enough to hurt my enjoyment of the game at all so far.

Yep, I saw it in a few places on Thursday at $39.99, like RCL66 said.

I don;t have this game, but I've had that problem before with a couple of others. I'd call the manufaturer's technical support line. They may ask you to mail the game to them and then send you another copy. It's a PITA, but ususally they make it worth your while with a freebie game or something.

I rented it this weekend. The game is a lot like the first one. The tricks are more important, and you have to do more "advanced" tricks than what were available on the last game.

My major complaint is the it does not look like you can play the
"fun" courses in 2 player mode. The only courses were stadium. I may have missed something, but I doubt it.

I figure it was because the game/ps2 couldn't handle 2 players and all the of background effects at the same time.
