Wait, as opposed to EGMs whose reviews are brief, superficial, uninformative and graded with numbers?

Many a time I've read them gush over a game in a review yet score it 7. Not once mentioning a flaw in the game.

The numbers or faces mean nothing to me. To be honest, I wouldn't turn to any magazine for reviews. To much hype for my good. At least I get EGM and Pro for free now.

Reminds me of the time we took a free (or really cheap, like $10) 3-month newspaper subscription because we were out of stuff to like the birdcage with, and that was cheaper than going out and buying the real stuff...

We're still working our way through that pile of newspaper over a year later...
