Not in the AD. Just in-store temporary markdowns. You'll notice them in the game case with signs with yellow left margins that say "Temporary Price Cut"

Can anyone else confirm this? I was inside Target yesterday (Sunday, July 27th) and Splinter Cell for both PS2 and GC was marked $49.99. This is a game I've been waiting to by when it got cheaper.

Yes, THey did the temporary markdown after this week the price went up again

BTW, it might still be listed as $50 behind the display, but it should ring up at the sale price. The guy was surprised that there was a sale on it. I guess Target isn't interested in the extra buys that such a sale would generate. It's like pulling teeth just to get someone IN the electronics area. Every time I go, there is never anyone there. I had to find a worker to get the game for me.
