KOTOR Players... Light or Dark?

Just a simple poll to see where people are aligning themselves. Personally the first time through i'm playing it dark side and am finally starting to manifest physical signs of being evil. Well other than dual wielding red sabers and force choking anyone i can.

I haven't started it up yet, but I plan to go light the first time through.

I did light, I'll do dark next time, but it will be a bit, I need a break from the constant loading.

I am about 9 hours into the game & just about finally leaving Tarris & I've been playing Light so far. I can see how playing dark & cut the amount of time you spend playing down, but it seems to me that playing dark at first can be fun but after a while it seems like it would get old. So it is the light side of the force for me. (although I did kill Bandak Starkiller & collect a couple of bounties)

I am going light the first time, and dark next. Light just seems more logical for the first time through, hell, you are a Jedi. Next comes the dark side

Where do you work that you get to play an Xbox?

Aside from light & dark, which jedi paths did everyone choose. I'm at that point now & I'm torn as to witch direction, guardian? sentinel, I forgot the other one?

Im doing light side first but its so tempting when you have some whiny voiced alien whining to you about his problems. you just want to bust out with a "Give me all your credits if you want to live!"

I'm taking the approach of most people. I've started out with the light side. The second time will be the dark side. I cant wait til I select some of those dark side responses and see the type reaction you will get back.

No contest for me. I simply had to go dark. With powers like choke/kill and lightning/storm, how could you not?

I'm 37 hours in now, and I just reached level 18 Jedi. I'll go light my second time.

I'm actually pretty suprised at at the number of people playing light side vs dark the first time through. I guess i assumed more people would be giving into the power they get through the dark side Or maybe that's just me. Either way i'm playing a dark guardian - all about flurry attacks with 2 sabres

Playing the "light" side right now but mainly I'm just getting kind of bored w/ it. Then again I've been OD'ing on the console games recently so that might have something to do w/ it too... When I actually buy it later (it's just a rental now) I'll probably try out the "dark" side.

BTW it's only when you see "[dark|light] side point awarded" that a change is actually made right? I've been pillaging as many of the apartments as I can find and it doesn't seem to have an effect (unless I missed something). Hardly seems like a "light side" person would be behind a master crime spree but whatever

Nothing like the warm fuzzy feeling after you decline Dia's heirloom and tell her that her thanks are enough... it feels like you are now truly a Jedi

Nothing like not having the chance to decline Dia's heirloom because you already killed her and got dark side points for it

-- "Yes I know how you feel--being in the light has its own rewards"
-- "Do you know anything about this planet?"

I'm going light side this time around (although I've gotten a couple of darkside points).

Do this poll again in about 2-3 weeks and it will probably go the other way.

It also takes considerably longer to become 100% Light than it does to be 100% Dark.

I've finished my first time through at about 36 hours on the Light Side. I didn't hit 100% till about 32 hours in.

I've started a Dark character. I've finished Taris and Dantooine in about 8 hours. My first planet is Tatooine and I'm already at 100% Dark after my little chat with the female trying to sell he husband's plate.

Being 100% Dark gives you some serious skin problems too.

I was almost 100% dark side and enjoying all the benefits of modifiers to my dark jedi powers. But on Kashyyk i had to do one good act that got me 2 light side points and seriously jaked my meter away from the dark. Some of my modifiers went from -10 to -4 *growl* Now i need to find some puppies to kick or people to beat up and prove myself evil enough

Whenever I get around to picking up the game and an X-box I plan on playing through as a Light jedi the first time and a dark one the second time.
