Pot calling the Kettle black, it's make them feel better because they spend all thier time doing the same thing and ain't got **** to prove it.

You can watch DVD's over and over again forever. What is he going to do with his 5 min of fame from beating DK?

With that reasoning..whats the point in competing in any competition or contest? Once you win, its over. Its not about fame. Its about doing wanting to accomplish something, anything.

In the same fram of mind you can play a video game over and over again forever. And they don't require a minimum of 90 minutes.. plus nobodies earned any fame (yet) from any sort of DVD viewing.. (yes that is an open challenge )

Now if someone could just explain one other thing to me. THERE'S 22 LEVELS IN DONKEY KONG? I had absolutely no idea! I thought there was the barrels, the elevators, and then the conveyor belt. Only three levels. I must not be as good at that game as I thought! (Makes me want to find one and start playing again. )
Yep. There's the ramps (barrels as you call it), the girders (where you remove the rivets and he falls), the elevators, and the factory (aka the conveyor belt). But they repeat in various orders. The end of a "level" is always the girder level where you knock out all the rivets and drop him on his skull. After the 21st such girder level, you next find yourself at the barrels level (on the 117th screen) with a timer so short that you cannot make it past the third level up the screen before the clock runs out. It's impossible to beat.

Ramps:

Elevators:

Factory:

Girders:

The scary thing about this kind of a record is that it's not just about getting to the 117th screen, as many people have done that.

A record score requires an optimal performance through the 117 screens. You have to jump multiple barrels at once for bonus points, grab hammers to smash the maximum number of enemies, and try to get a maximum time bonus for each level.

Shattering the record by this margin means he spent a LOT of time perfecting his routes through the game.
