Where is Sonic Pinball Party for the GBA?

I've read about it in game magazines and was able to find it at Nintendo: http://www.nintendo.com/games/gamepa...?game_id=1695.

However I can't find it at stores both B&M and online and cannot find it at several review sites I've been to. It had a release date in June. The Nintendo site doesn't have the usual screenshots, videos, etc.

What's up with this game? I really wanted it!

Yup, no matter how much I love Sega games, I can not understand their marketing!

In Sega of America's ultimate wisdom they made it
a Target Exclusive game. (At least initially)

Too bad too, cause this is by far one of the best GBA games!

I can't recommend this game enough!!! It's better than
Pinball of the dead! Theres arcade mode, Story mode, Chao raising, Casino mode, and Party mode.

Arcade mode = play any of the tables
The tables are: Sonic (with changing levels and Characters!)
Nights! and Samba De Amigo.
Story mode: is like a competition to beat other characters at pinball. The competitors are all sega character properties. Including Chu Chu Rocket ones! (love that music!)
Chao Raising: You can raise Chao's and the rings you collect in the Sonic table helps you enhance them. Havent played much with it.
Casino mode: are mini games to gain rings. More games open up the more you play other modes.
Party mode: multiplayer games to link up with other GBA's only 1
cart needed for playing.

The music is great! Covering Sonic, Nights, Samba, Chu Chu Rocket's Lineages of music.
In Sega tradition they include the Sound mode option to hear all the BGM and sound effects.

Overall it's jus a very colorful easy to pick up hard to put down FUN Game. It's the one that resides in my GBASP when I'm on the go!

Couldn't find it online but did find it at a Target B&M. Does that mean $30 is the cheapest I'll find it?

Unfortunately yes. But it's a well spent $30.00!

Unless you can find it used somewhere.

You guys rock Thanks!

Picked up a copy. I had picked up Eye of the Beholder (D&D) and Dragonball Z Collectible Card Game both for the GBA since I was at Target and they were $10 each - then read reviews before opening them and decided to return them... that plus a $5 gift certificate I had from work and total outlay today was under $6

They had 8 left before I picked up mine.

No, thats Sonic Spinball which is very different. Two of the tables in Pinball Party are like the ones found in Sonic Adventure, but there is a whole lot more to the game.

SPP is not the best pinball game IMO. The 2-1/2 tables each get tiresome after a while. (Samba is so simple it doesn't count as a full game!) There's basically one gaol in each (start and defeat eggman in Sonic, get ideyas in Nights; every 'new' level is just the same layout with different background graphics). And the casino is really lame and unbalanced--just repetitively shoot highly-angled shots to the upper left & right corners. Lots of points/rings for bingo, usually the same for roulette, very few (if any!) for slots.

Overall, it's repetitive, with no bonus tables like Pinball of the Dead, and the 'goals' are also repetitive and limited (and inferior to pokemon pinball, e.g.). Physics are good, replay value isn't. (And I *like* pinball!)

Isn't there a new GBA pokemon pinball coming out soon? Say what you want about pokemon, but that original pinball game was great... though I don't think I'll ever "catch 'em all" in that game...

Pokemon Pinball is worse than crack! I never thought I'd get addicted to a pinball game .

The new one is Pokemon Pinball Ruby & Sapphire (its one cart with both versions like the original). Not sure when its coming out, but it must be pretty soon. You should get that one too GatorDeb .
