Oh my goodness that's fantastic. I still want a shyguy though. :)

So far my impressions. It's pretty easy. On the 1st 2 courses I've got 1st place, although my scores weren't that great. I did notice that one character, usually Luigi or Yoshi will get out with a huge shot lead. Usually like 3 or 4 strokes. They then will fade big time in the later holes and not get par. Overall, it's pretty fun.

Deftones, talk to me again after you play the third course :D


BTW Star Yoshi is doing WORSE than regular Yoshi. Grr :mad:

Yup. That third one's a doozy (Sands). Is there a way to save the Target/HV codes to play those courses multiplayer? I don't want to have to enter those everytime I want to play.

The 4th course is hella tough. Tons of water and sand traps.

Uhhmm... where exactly do you enter the Target code?

Go to the Contests option on the main menu, then pick Password. (I posted that earlier in this thread, now we're even...)

ok, I'm about to go on a murderous rampage b/c of this 4th course. No matter how hard I try, I am sucking it up. It almost seems like the wind is affecting the balls more on this course than on ther other. :mad:

How did you get through that hole in the 3rd course in which your second swing was againt a mountain and then you had to go over a long water obstacle?

Sorry, I just noticed, the contest option is not there when you have a tournament saved. It changes to Continue, now I can't figure out how to get back to say Contests. I've finished my tournament and when I go to Continue it says 'Nothing Saved'. Anyone know how to get the Contest icon back?

Got the game tonight. It was basically $34.99 because I went to CC, used a Best Buy $5 off coupon (I just walked into the store and walked out with it. I didnt activate nothing and no one stopped me. So I got a coupon for nothing) and I got that $10 gift card.

So far I think the game looks nice. Were having fun and laughing at all of them.

My only complaint, where the F*&k is Mini Golf??? PLEASE tell me they left that in and its hidden somewhere!

I finally got a managet at CC who would take the BB coupon, but not with the $10 giftcard. So no $15 off for me. Oh well :)

the more i play this the more it frustrates me. the courses get harder as expected. however, the weather and wind is making the ball react differently on each of the courses and that's stupid. :mad:

Heh, try finishing the 18 hole Birdie Challenge. I swear this is the first game in about 10 years that literally makes me wanna snap my controller in half lol.

same with me. a 2 MPH affects the ball more than a 10 mph wind? WTF? :mad:

You must be confused somehow. The wind effects different shots in different ways. That's only natural. Have you considered that the wind will affect the ball differently depending on how high you hit it? The longer the ball is in the air also means the longer it will be effected by the wind.

Uhhh, no, I'm not confused. I understand that wind affects the balls in different ways. Apparently you didn't read what I posted. I've had several shots where a 2 MPH wind has made the ball go off course far greater than the same shot with a 10 MPH wind. Trust me, I've played through each course several times. And don't say it was b/c the ball was in the air for different amounts of times. I used the same club.

So can anyone tell me how to do that shot in the Sands Classis where first you have a mountain and then a looooong stretch of water? :)

BTW I have three challenges left for the character match... Mario, Bowser, and Donkey Kong... and Mario is TOUGH. I've been trying all day and I can't beat him :(

so do you have to beat everyone in a character match to get the special star power player? or just beat one character in expert mode? (which I thought I did but nothing happened)
