Would have been easier if he just hook 1 comp up to a projector.... It is still cool, if abit overdone.

For the money he spent on all that, he could probably get his real pilot's license

That would not accomplish what he wants, however. All of those monitors are showing different views from within the plane. With one monitor/display (no matter how big), you are still only going to be able to show one view. Basically, he is trying to recreate a 180 degree view around his cockpit.

MS Flight Simulator supports multiple monitors on one machine (up to eight I think). Of course, you would have to have multiple dual head video cards in your PC to do that. Since he has more than eight monitors and appears to be using multiple PCs, I suspect he is using the X-Plane flight simulator, which I believe supports multiple PCs with multiple monitors via sending game data across your LAN to allow the other PCs to render the appropriate views.

It boggles my mind the amount of cash that was put into that.

But not nearly as much as some of those "game rooms" at DigitPress....some of those scare me.

How could you spend so much money on monitors, but still buy those cheap, nasty wooden frames?

This guy can't have a wife or she'd kill him...

I'm sure the cheap-o frames were all he could afford after buying all those monitors.

Wouldnt all those monitors running that close together affect the gravitational field of the earth in some way?

Yeah, looks like he had to sell one of the arms of his chair to make a payment on that flat-screen...

Still, good to seem him using the classic "Paper Ream as Monitor Stand" technique... - Urgh, the whole things looks messy and naaaaasty...

When I see this, the names Peter & Milton come to mind.

I'm not so sure that he's at home. My guess is Lumberg caught him on Friday before he left and made him work Saturday and he did this with his co-workers equipment in retaliation.

It looks like in the pic that Lumberg has already retrieved the "Red" stapler and he's been moved to the back of the office. If Lumberg sees this, it's the basement for him.
