Need some feedback on Tomb Raider: AOD
most of the review I've read say that the game is ultimately very disappointing, especially the awkward controls
I've played the previous games so maybe it won't be too much of a problem for me
just wanna know it's a rental or a keeper?
Thanks

Right now, I'm loving this game. Once you get by all the beginning level (Parisian ghetto) and get in to the art gallery, the game gets awesome. If your a fan of the original series, then you will like this one. Just remember to hold down the walk button to make her do all her old side step, back step moves and use the camera (press the R3 button) to center it behind Lara before you try a hard jump and you won't have any problems. I give the game a thumbs up no matter what the mags say. Yes, its flawed but it's a great game. Give it a try and tell me what you think.

EGM made note of the fact the game was not given to them to review before release just like the Matrix which turned out to be pretty mediocre. Its never a good sign when they hide a game from being reviewed.
Other than Darth Gamer I have yet to hear anyone that liked it. It never hurts to rent it first and then if you like it enough you can buy it.
