Title pretty much says it all. I'm a huge TR fan and have been waiting for almost a year now for it. I actually am not getting my hopes up for it but I am still getting a little excited. It's due to hit the shelves on the 18th of June, and I checked again today and it was not delayed again. Wondering if any of you had seen a review yet?

Gamerankings has no reviews listed, and I haven't heard of any, personally, either.

It's ususally not a good sign if a game releases before it's reviewed. The publishers wouldn't want any bad press to ruin any immediate sales so they don't give demos out for magazines to review.

I'll review it - it's lame. Well, not totally lame, but it's not great. There are several games that play just the same way that are coming out soon and that are way better (IMHO).

looks better then the last 2 or 3 games in the series..

I never understood what the big hoopla over Tomb Raider was. The horrible graphics, worse controls, bad level design, boring combat, and lack of music made me glad i rented it instead of buying. Even back in '97 when i played it i thought there were a lotta games that were better than Tomb Raider.

All the hoopla was Lara Croft.

but yeah Tomb Raider series got crappier after II, bad controls and super hard levels.

Go figure!!!! I went to pick it up today and it has been delayed until friday. I can't wait for this game but on the other hand, I'm about to give up on it!!!!!!

After playing this game at E3, this game shouldn't be released intill a lot of bugs are fixed. the controls were crappy and half the time lara croft was half way into solid objects. It should be delayed more then just till friday. the gameplay suffers a great deal. one bad game if you ask me.

I saw the video review of it on IGN and it seemed to LOOK pretty cool, at least. It had almost a cell shaded quality to it.

Not for nothing, but just about all I've heard from everyone on this forum is negative. But judging from how many people have looked at this thread, (430 as I write this) is telling me that there might be a lot of closet, tomb raider fans hoping that this turns out to be a great game.

Well I have the game in my hands as I type. Yes, it finally came out!!!!! I have not had a chance to pop it in yet (I'm still at work) but I looked through the book and it does sound rather cool. The controls are alot of the same so that any TR fan will be able to pick it up right away and play, but there are enough new controls to keep it new. I really hope this game does not suck, because I'm really looking forward to it. I'll check back later and fill you all in.

And Darth, I hope you bought it from Gamestop or somewhere where you can return it. I believe this game will be Seven Levels of Suck (I'm sure there are more levels than 7 BTW).
