huh?

I couldn't find the old thread with all the help for the wind waker and my question is this.

i made it to the wind temple (i guess the last 2 person temple in the game) and i can't seem to get farther than the first room. basically i figured out how to use the metal boots to help me spring really high in the air, but there is wind blocking my way from just springing up in the air and using the leaf to fly up to the next door. there are a couple brown spots on the ground that look like they might mean something, but i'm not really sure what. does anyone know what i'm talking about?

Use the Command Song to get the little spud to fly across the gap and up the ledge and hit the button to turn the cyclones off.

Then use the boots on that platform to spring board up and then use the deku leaf to glide over to the ledge where the spud is.

Also, Spud has a special power....use him and walk over the brown stains on the ground.
