Airforce Delta Storm - worth buying at $30?
I just saw Airforce Delta back for sale at outlet and retailers.
It was also $30

This game came out at the initial xbox release and wondered if anyone has it and there impressions.
I would like to know if it is like the Sega Afterburner series or not?
Thanks.

Yeah it is, im picking it up in the next few weeks myself..
Its not like the After Burner series..I thought the Graphics were very good and it reminded me mostly of the Air Combat Series on the PS2, but done a lil better.

Its alright, so far I have mixed feelings about it. The gameplay has been altered from the dreamcast Air Force Delta, instead of going on a mission and never having to touch it again you have forts and such that have to be conquered. But you have to reach those forts and such by taking a path with submissions, another kick in the pants is that you can't reload, if you go on 3 submissions and then take the fort you're doing it with whatever ammo you have left from those three missions.
So then you beat whatever, then you have to make it back to your main base, which can involve redoing the same mission you did before taking the main objective. So far thats the only thing thats really annoying me. Graphics are very good and controls haven't changed if you played Air Force Delta on the dreamcast. Overall I think its worth 30 .
