you can edit your cfg file (use notepad) in the profiles or etmain directory with ^number to generate different colors, or you can DL the Wolf Name Generator and create a new cfg

Actually that's not me, I have been asked that several times though, is this guy famous or something?
However I am a server/forum Admin for the ID software official servers (Xians) and the ND80USA servers.
I play RTCW mainly on these boxes
UDP OLTL
SHRUB OLTL
Texas STopwatch
SmokeHerb
LockedBox
Vodka Frenzy
ND80
Xians

Ok - I've been playing this for almost two weeks straight. It's alot of fun. I'm having problems with it though - it crashes all the time. I get to play for 20 minutes or so and then it just crashes. Others are experiencing the same thing, so at least it's not just me. They're working on a server-side patch which will fix the server crashes, but no word yet on a client patch for this problem. One thing at a time I guess.
I play as Trigger9mm if anyone happens to see me... just look towards the top of the scoreboard... HA.. j/k

I do like the random health packs located throughout some maps, it eases the pain of having a stingy medic on the team.

Yeah, I usually play as Field Ops. But I don't really hand out the ammo that much because I always fighting in the deep front and I always use the artillery call or airstirke call. If I decided to fight in the back, I would give out the ammo or when I headed to the deep front, I would give out to all the defense troops.
I never ask for Medic. What's point? I can wait till respawn time.

I downloaded this a while back and finally decided to play it today. Man, I really suck. It feels different than regular Wolfenstein (guns shoot different, and the feeling) I feel like such a noob. It was fun though

The point in calling for a medic is to make your whole team stronger. I get experience points and promotions for healing and reviving you. It is very important to help your team upgrade their skillsets. Also as a medic I start out with hardly any ammo. Pass it out. A good medic keeps the frontline stocked with healthy troops, if you spawn you take a long time to get back to the front and the enemy can push the front line back on you. Don't call air and artillery except to destroy tanks and the like as you will often end up killing your own teammates.
Look for Ginsu on the "Crackedpipe" server.

And yes max life servers do suck big when you have crappy medics and field ops your resources are extremely limited. Nothing like laying there 5 minutes requesting a medic and end up wasting a life becuase no one ever comes and you see there's 3 medics on the team

I've been investigating these crashes I've been having... I installed ET on 4 different PCs.
2000XP, 512MB, GF4ti4200 - winxp pro
700 Duron, 512MB, GF2ti - win2000 pro
3Ghz P4, 512MB, Radeon 9800 Pro - winxp home
Mobil P4 1.7Ghz, 384MB, ATI 32MB Shared memory - winxp home... Laptop.
The 2000+ AMD Athlon XP is the one that crashes... it works awesome on the P4 (of course) and it looks okay on the Laptop, but it's difficult to control with a touchpad...
The Duron works okay - I set the graphics option to High so it was at 1024x768 and junk... the game suggested I run it at 640x480 and I was insulted. Anyway - it looked nice, but ran kinda sluggish when there was smoke and fire stuff. 800x600 would probably work good.
I found people talking about the crashes on a forum and they all posted their specs and they all had the Athlon 2000+ or close to it. Someone underclocked his to 1.13 or something and said it didn't crash - I couldn't underclock mine for some reason (OS wouldn't boot) so I can't verify. That's not an acceptable solution anyway. Hope they pump out a patch for this. Anyone have a 2000+ processor and having problems with crashing?

I have a XP1600+ O/C'ed to XP2000+ and have had no crashes.
1GB RAM - ATI 9700NP O/C'ed
Also was playing on a GF3 Ti200 at a lower resolution no problem before I bought the 9700NP so it's not a Video Card problem.

actually - the more skillz u got, the more fun it is.
I got muted today... someone called a vote to mute me cuz I was telling my team to forget about the depot yard and just worry about getting the tug there. Some people don't even read what's being voted on I don't think. I was talking to my own team too, so having the other side vote on me being muted didn't make sense cuz they didn't see my text anyway. Then someone started a vote to get me unmuted and I just left... lets see how they do without their best medic.

Thats one reason I hate playing as axis on the rail gun map. Everyone goes off to do their own thing and I'm usually the only one trying to move the G.D. train
