Mario Golf's Street Date Announced

Well at least EB Games is advertising it and have given it a street date. I am just about to take the plunge for a GC.

If you buy your Cube at EBGames, make sure you use MSNWallet for 20% back.

The N64 version was insanely fun for no particular reason. As long as they don't mess with success, I don't see why the GC version can't be the same way. Of course, I imagine it wouldn't hurt to add a v-swing option a-la Tiger Woods.

And can Peach's skirt get any shorter? And who is this |'uigi guy?

Just a note.. any dates you get from EB or Gamestop are probably made up. If there's been an official accouncement then cool, but until then these guys like making things up to generate customer interest.

On the topic of Mario Golf.. I played the Mario Tennis game on GBC and it was excellent. The N64 Tennis was, alright. I never played the Gold games though.

FWIW, I've seen the 7/28 date bandied about other places as well, such as PlanetGamecube.

Cool cool.. I just felt the need to add the disclaimer, as I've been told about 10 release dates for Wario World and everytime I go into a Gamestop they have a new "date" for Halo 2 posted.

I think your talking about Waluigi with the upsidedown L. He first appeard in Mario Tennis for the N64 I think. An alter ego of Luigi as you might have guessed, but actually kinda cool with his maniacal laughs.

Waluigi is best known for his night job playing the "Purple Pie Man" on the Strawberry Shortcake show.
