Help me pick a motorcycle game

Hey guys, I need help picking out a motorcycle racing game for a friends birthday. He's got a GC, Xbox, and PS2 so it can be for any system. And he prefers the more realistic type of racing games (like GT3). Any help would be appreciated.

I'd definitely recommend the MotoGP2 as well. It's definitely the GT3 of motorcycle games. Seeing as how the Xbox version has online play, it would be my first choice.

4 out of 5 dentists agree... MOTO GP2 is better.

Just to make this a landslide, I'll throw my vote in for MotoGP2. If he has XBOX LIVE then it's a must-own.

If online is not required, you may want to get MOTO GP I instead. It's basically the same game for less money.

MotoGP 2 on Xbox Live. Even offline, it's still an excellent game.

If he wants realistic handling, crank the realistic option to 100%. He'll be crashing his brains out the first 30 minutes.

For some reason, i find that driving motorcycles in games like GTA3:VC and Headhunter is actually more fun than real motorcycle racing games.

I think you're the only person that bought the game.

I love getting competitive with someone that was racing like a jerk in MotoGP, then going all out to crash him/her.

With Road Rash, you wouldn't have to wait for someone to start trouble, since that's the whole point of the game.

Although Moto GP2 for Xbox is the obvious answer, Acclaim's Speed Kings looks to try to be the spiritual successor to Road Rash (since EA has left that inexplicible, gaping hole in the marketplace for this subgenre unfilled).

The good news is that it could be out in a matter of days. The bad news is that it's from Acclaim. Who knows... it could be at the same level as Burnout, but how often does lightning strike twice?

I would go with Excitebike..........if it was 1988.

I also agree with MotoGP2, Live or not.
