The Most Games You Were Simultaneously In the Middle Of?

I'm currently trying to finish the following games (6) but keep buying more and can't help but try them out. Which perpetuates my problem of not being able to finish them in a timely manner:

Enter the Matrix
Baulders Gate
RTCW
Splinter Cell
Time Splitters
Kung Fu Chaos

I need to start playing games to the end. Who else has my illness? I have no self control when it comes to video games.

I'm in the same boat. I'll start a game but somehow I never finish them. I wonder if there is a support group for this. I buy games even though I have games I haven't even started playing. Anyways, here's my list:

Games started but have not finished:

Animal Crossing
Legend of Zelda:OoT
Baldurs Gate: Dark Alliance
Final Fantasy X
Grand Theft Auto: Vice City
Splinter Cell
Outlaw Golf

Games that have not been opened:

Eternal Darkness
Reign of Fire
Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker
Metroid Prime
Resident Evil: Zero
The Getaway
Grand Theft Auto
Xenosaga
NFL 2K3
Shemmue II
Project Gotham Racing

Games I have Finished:

Halo

I know its pretty sad. I guess I buys game because most of them I've got good deals on them. On a side note: I plan to buy Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic when it comes out. Gotta go play something.......

I'm in that same boat. I have about 10 games I'm in the middle of and about another I haven't even opened yet. Just so much coming out for all the systems, hard to stay focus on just one game.

Unfinished games. I've come to accept it as a fact of life. I'm such a game fan, with loads of games in my shelf. Yet I seldom get to finish these games. Only one I've finished lately was Halo, and that really says so much for how good Halo is. I don't even want to part with games I have, so I don't really trade these. I just love knowing that I can play these games once I do have the time to do so. Yet time is seldom on my side I guess. Of course, it doesn't help that I really suck at playing games. Nevertheless, I just love playing games!

I'm in the same boat also:

Eternal Darkness
Super Mario Sunshine
Metroid Prime
Animal Crossing (I don't think I'll ever "beat" this one )
Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker
Metal of Honor: Frontline
Skies of Arcadia (DC)
Harvest Moon (PS1)
Tiger Woods 2003
Shenmue 2 (DC)

And then I still have a bunch of RPGs from the PS1 to play and beat.

I'm playing Legend of Zelda:OoT and again before I play windwaker and I just finished the Forest Temple in that.

I haven't played Metroid Prime or Mario Sunshine yet. I broke down and got Enter the Matrix today.

My worst is Final Fantasy X. I got to the the point where you go and fight Sin then I stopped and haven't played it in over a year.

The last game I made it through was Splinter Cell.

I'm in the middle of several games. The downside to owning all 3 consoles that I didn't think of is that I'm not finishing stuff. I get distracted and move on to other things.

Metroid Prime is the one I'm playing the most right now. Excellent game. I made it a save station in the Phazon Mines last night. I think I'm around 45% complete. I haven't made it far at all with Zelda, I just have to pick it back up. Animal Crossing became kind of an obsession. I played it every day for a month. About a week ago I just stopped. It was becoming too much like work. I wasn't playing because I wanted to, but because I felt like I had to.

I'm also playing a couple of Xbox games here and there but currently my PS2 playtime only conisists of a weekly SOCOM game. That surprises me. I never thought the PS2 would be 3rd in terms of the time I spend playing games

Up until last night I was in the middle of Resident Evil 0, Skies of Arcadia (GC), Zelda: OOT (GC), Zelda: Wind Waker, and Europa Universails 2. Thankfully I beat The Wind Waker last night and I'm not too far from the end of RE0. My real problem is EU2 -- it's a historical strategy game for the PC that I just can't stop playing.

I think the busiest I've ever been with games though was at the very end of last generation. Not long before the new systems were set to come out I bought a PSX and all the games I missed over the previous 5 years. Seeing as how most of those were lengthy RPGs, I was swamped. Grandia... 50+ hours, Xenogears... 50+ hours, Vagrant Story... 40+ hours, GT2... God only knows how many hours, etc. I was really rushing so I could be done with and rid of all my PSX stuff before the GC come out. Luckily a lot of the games that were supposed to be great weren't so that saved a few hours.

I've been having this same problem! Right now I'm halfway through Robotech and GTA: VC. I also just began the new Zelda, Mario, and am at the final stage of LOTR: TTT.

Yesterday I wandered into a Gamestop and had to ask my girlfriend to keep me from buying Eternal Darkness (since it's only fifteen bucks brand new). The last thing that I need is another game right now!

Probably just 3 for me. When I first got my XBox in February, I was playing Halo, Splinter Cell, and Max Payne. Usually though I play one or two games at a time.

I'm definitely gulity of this. i keep buying games when I see a good deal (like the Baldur's Gate Dark Alliance for $10 deal) even though i still have a ton of game to finish.

I recently finished Mark of Kri and Two Towers on PS2 so that put a tiny dent in the task ahead but I still have all these to finish:

XBOX:
Jedi Knight Outcast
Splinter Cell
Return to Castle Wolfenstein
Tiger Woods 2003
Crazy Taxi High Roller
Robotech
Amped
Blinx

Plus I have Sega Soccer Slam, DOA beach Volleyball and NFL 2K3 to play

PS2:
Vice City

PC:
Max Payne
GTA 3
Undying
Close Combat 4 & 5
Mechwarrior 4
Half-Life
NeverWinter Nights
Soldier of Fortune (1&2)
Combat Flight Simulator 2

Gameboy:
Advanced Wars
Zelda Link to the Past

I'm sure I forgotten others on PC especially.
