Halo System Link-How many Xbox's?

Did a search and couldn't turn up an answer for this. How many Xbox's can be linked together for link play? I've had up to four, but can you have more than that? I know some games allow for up to 8 (Deathrow). The manual, as I recall, doesn't really state a max # for link play.

Anyone know?

I was afraid of that. We'll have six players for my next LAN party. We were hoping to play some Halo in addtion to RTCW and Deathrow(which both allow more than 4 systems).

Thanks.
