Look, I haven't seen the new matrix yet, and it seems to me like I'm already tired of it. For a movie that had a lot to say on existential or philosophical views on things, they're certainly milking this whole franchise. I mean sunglasses, powerades, heineken?

I mean, what made the 1st one so special was it came from nowhere and just sort of grabbed you, WHOA! Sorry, just venting.

You've got a great point... it's a cash thing now. Matrix = Money

edited to add - this doesn't mean I won't be seeing the movies in both the theaters and on DVD, and playing the game...

Let the Matrix backlash begin...

I still think it's cool - until they start bringing out Matrix Lunchboxes...

People are into the whole Matrix thing. This isn't just a way to make cash...it's a way to make people feel like they are part of the Matrix. There were some real freaks on that Matrix Revisited DVD and they all had weird names and talked about how the movie touched them in some way. I loved the film, can't wait to get the game and I'm headed out to see the movie right after I post this but I'm not as big a freak as those people.

Distributed in the US by SEGA too...maybe that's their big announcement?

At least they should garner more subscribers than the Phantom.

What is the goal of the game?

In the Matrix the goal was to free the humans from the Matrix.

Is the online game's goal for the players to try and get out of the online game's billing system
