Wow, Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Goes Freakin' Nuts And Starts Eating The Wildlife. That guy with the automatic weapon at the top of the falls had horrible aim.

I will be the first skeptic in this thread. After feeling pretty burned by Metal Gear Solid 2 after all of its hype, I will remain skeptical about MGS3, and hope that there will be more "tactcial espionage action" and less "half-hour cinematics that made me fall asleep," and that the plot will actually be understandable

But as somebody who played the ORIGINAL Metal Gear.. this freaking looks like they are going back to the jungle roots baby!!

Good God! Looks amazing. The engine is the same as the MGS2:SOL one by the looks of it so I would say it's on PS2.

Graphics are a bit disappointing, so hopefully they've improved the controls.

If the story is as asinine as part 2, count me out. Splinter Cell is what MGS2 ever HOPE to be, but isn't.

So much for sneaking up on people I guess.

I just hope the story isn't as outragous as MGS2, and I hope it's not as cinematic. 2 was fun, but the cinemas seemed to do less and less for the advancement of the game as the game went on.

WOW! Like Pixyboi I have also played the original Metal Gear and I'm so glad to see Snake go back to the jungle!

And, mtucker, if you remember the MGS2:SOL and SUBSTANCE ad campaigns you'll know to take that trailer with a grain of salt. I'm sure there'll be lots of action but I doubt it'll be as non stop as the trailer suggests.

Am I the only one who'se glad this trailers is only just a fewseconds above a minute. Al the trailers for MGS2:SOL were way too long nadkind of over sold the game. By that I mean that it made people way too excited and there was no way itwould have lived up to the hype even ifyou played with Snake through all of the game, the cinemas and codec conversations were cut down to reasonable lengths and the plot didn't spiral out of control towards the end. There was just way too much hype. But I'm hoping this'll be more of a game with the movie aspect being better integrated - more of a detail than the main focus.

All in all, I can't wait. And Konami would be wise to have Kojima make this game with multiple platforms in mind from the start. I may only have a PS2 but there are plenty of X-Box and Gamecube owners that shoulddefinitely also get to enjoy this game and not have it be a lame port but actually designed from the ground up with their respective consoles in mind.

But seriously, I was sooo let down my MGS 2 that I don't even know if I'll pick this one up.

The plot was laughable and I thought Rose was annoying and Raiden's character development and background was a waste of time they should have stayed with solid snake. Throughout the whole game.

MGS2 met all my expectations, and I am hoping MGS3 will do the same. I am all for the cinematics, its what kept me going through MGS2.

Guess I'm in the minority that enjoyed MGS2. I can't wait for this one.

Yes yes, I know, Mozilla won't read this. I'd like to know if it's an FMV or actual ingame footage... could consoles even produce graphics like this? They look nothing short of incredible.

I didn't mind the FMV scenes in MGS2, I just hope we don't get some of the the long codec conversations that were in 2.
