The Official "Damn this E3 is gonna rock!!!" thread
There are so many cool announcements and games that I don't ever recall being this excited for an E3. Plus with all the stuff that companies have already leaked I can't wait to find out what the surprises are!
We have:
Xbox LIVE 2.0
Metal Gear 3!!
The next Splinter Cell game
Syphon Filter Online!
Jak II
Not to mention: Mario Kart: DD, Half Life 2, Doom 3, Ico 2, Halo 2, MGS: Twin Snakes, Castlevania, Gran Turismo 4(!!!), Fable, Tomb Raider (you know you're curious), Mario 128, SSX 3, FF XII, GTA: San Andreas.....
Also the Nokia N-gage and new Tap-wave consoles should be shown.
What're you excited to see?

any idea on xbox live 2.0 going to be free for those who already bought the first xbox live? I want those new features, but spending an extra $50 would really suck.
*edit* nevermind, I just found the thread ON this subject. Never even thought to look more down the forum and not respond to this thread before that.

I'm pretty excited about Doom ]I[ still and Half-Life 2. The new Tribes looks pretty cool too. Can't wait. I wouldn't hold my breath on Final Fantasy XII though. I don't think it'll be ready to be shown at E3.

Of the great majority of you that are excited about E3, I hope it delivers in spades. I've heard of this PS2 game called "Kin" that's supposed to be one of Sony's hidden secrets. Interesting to see how it turns out. I almost forgot about the Metroid sequel and Resident Evil online as well.
Here's a list from IGN with some additional big name titles.

Multiple games I'm interested in for each console, not to mention the surprises so I'm pretty excited to see what's what.
As long as the new Castlevania is good, the world is good.

Personally, I'm looking forward to information on Halo 2, Half-Life 2, Doom III, Mario 128, and Steel Battalion Online.

Some of you lucky fools that are going to E3 better be taking digi-cams to post pics and videos afterwards. I like the gaming websites' coverage but it would be nice to have some "guerilla" coverage as well from you DVD-talkers to see some stuff from an on-the-floor perspective.

I was waiting to see the "Damn this E3 is gonna SUCK!" thread, but it seems like it's already here.
Personally, looking over that list, there's some strong titles there I'd like see/hear more of... so bring on E3, and the rumored price cuts!

I'm worried about the 3D Castlevania. I think IGA likes Devil May Cry too much. I'm still waiting for a Rondo of Blood remake...
Games you didn't list that I'm looking foward to: Dead or Alive: CC, Ninja Gaiden, Kunoichi, and Silent Hill 3.

Per this thread ...
http://www.dvdtalk.com/forum/showthr...hreadid=289502
and this article
http://www.gamespot.com/pc/action/do...w_6026019.html
GS: Doom III made a big splash at last year's E3. Will we see the game at next month's show? If not, will the game stay under wraps until it ships?
TW: We couldn't have been happier with the response at last year's E3. The game won an unprecedented five "critic's choice" awards and countless online and print "best of E3" awards. It takes an enormous amount of time and effort to prepare the game for E3, so this year we're scaling back our presence quite a bit so we can stay focused on game development. We have put together a trailer that will be playing in the Activision booth, but we won't be showing the game to the press or general attendees. You can expect to hear from us from time to time and see little pieces of the game between now and when we ship, but we also don't want to spoil the game for people, so we're trying to hold back some surprises.

I also plan on writing up comments about each game I try there, as I did last year, but that will definitely not be online by Monday.
