That said, I'd love to see SNK license out a few of their franchises. I mean, who wouldn't love to have the Metal Slug games (preferably all of them) on Xbox in all their sidescrolling glory. If you ask me, it's a win-win deal for everyone. Gamers without a Neogeo get to play them, SNK gets more money.

I like the idea of SNK coming to America, but the fact that they are going to take their prize 2-D sidescroller (Metal Slug 3) and prize 2-D fighter (just about any fighter from SNK) and make them 3-D is rediculous. In Japan, they are soon to get Metal Slug 3 on the PS2, but I don't see them bringing it over here if they are working on a 3-D version. I boo that.

Pretty nice the way they had limited branching capabilities in mission selection -- or if you got shot down or "captured" while flying.
Who knows, with the increased memory, maybe they'll put both together for the GBA.

hey with this year's upcoming E3 I'm sure that SNK is sure to pull out all the stops for games. I'm sure there will be some shockers for fans of the company once things get hyped up

Just give me a Baseball Stars for Ps2, and DON'T TOUCH it gameplay wise. If you want to add detail to the ballparks, a Fenway Wall, Wrigley Ivy, Yankee Stadium Porch, that's it. But keep the batter/pitcher interface, the fielding, and the running. We love it and still talk about the game because of that. Don't reinvent the wheel here boys.
I realize SNK isn't reading this, but I"m hoping it enters the collective unconscious.

Would anyone object to a Metal Slug franchise in the @d Plane but 3D Style of ala Contra: SS for the PS2? I could hope it would be in these steps. Any of SNK's products 3D is blasphemy.
I second a perfect port of Baseball Stars... mmm Samurai Shodown in 3D..."it breaks the heart..."
2D FOREVER! The SNK moto
