New EB trade-in offer
I stopped by EB today and saw a big banner in the middle of the store advertising their latest trade-in deal...Trade in three PS2, GC, or Xbox games and receive an extra 20% in trade in credit. The kicker was that the sign stated that no titles were excluded.
I know, I know...you can get more money selling your stuff on ebay, but this might be a good opportunity to get rid of some stuff that was impossible to get rid of before.

EB dosn't pay that much for your stuff anyway. Even if its a pretty recent title (Splinter Cell for PS2 for example), and in mint condition with box and manual, you might get $15...So you get an extra 20%...wow, $18 now...

I'm going to have to jump on this... I have some titles I need to get rid of because either they are out of date or will be soon enough. Anyone know when this expires?

Well, I stopped by Software Etc. (part of the Babbages, Funcoland, Gamestop, and Planet X lot) and got a better offer. It wasn't advertised, but with the trade in of 3 games of similar system, I got:
1) 10 Month Subscription to Game Informer (worthless)
2) 10 Month Game Informer Discount Card (cash money millionare)
The discount card gives me 10% all used merchandice. With all the great games coming out over the next 10 months, I will not have any trouble waiting a month after launch and getting it used for 10% off. This saves a lot more money than getting an extra 20% on trade-ins.
