Help: looking for an all ecompassing War Simulator for PS2
Hi guys,
can anyone reccomend a War type game where I can attack the enemy with foot soldiers, special ops, attack helicopters, fighter jets and navy ships? i know thats a lot to ask, but there must be something that has at least some of those features. also, if it is based on real conflicts/real armies thats a plus!
i recently rented Conflict: Desert Storm, which is really cool, but I dont think it had air attack (that you controlled).
Anyone know anything out there or coming out for PS2?

Are there any Command and Conquer titles released for the PS1? I know you want a PS2 title like that, but as Mopower said, you'd be better off looking on the PC.

I don't think there's anything like that on the PS2. But if you wanted to a play a PC game, you might like Battlefield 1942. No choppers, but you can control infantry, fighter planes, and both land and sea vehicles. There will be jets in the next expansion, I think.
Actually, now that I think about it, an older game that you would probably dig is Operation Flashpoint. You can definitely do all the things that you mentioned, IIRC. Well, not naval ops.
