Earthbound is back!!!!!!!!
Woohoo!! The greatest rpg of all time is going to be released along with the first one that was never released here. No word on a US release, but I sure hope so! Been waiting for it since they put Ness in Super Smash Bros. I regretted selling my copy long ago, it was one of the funniest and enjoyable rpgs i've ever played. Back then I got a used copy and didn't get the cards or something that came with it, what were those? Anyone else looking forward to this?

Earthbound had some of the greatest humor ever seen in a videogame. I can't wait for the GBA version. I also wouldn't mind seeing a Gamecube sequel using the Zelda: TWW graphics engine.

I may be the only person on this planet who actually played through Earthbound and hated it. Sure, it was meant to be a kitchsy sci-fi rpg, but the battle system was dull and some of the gameplay conventions, while innovative, were rather flawed.
Worth playing now as a discount compilation, but it was shadowed by bigger and better games on the SNES (FFII and III, Lufia, etc.)

Too bad people just want assembly line RPGs; same characters, same plots.

No NA release date in site.
edit: I'm crossing my fingers that the reason they're taking so long is because they're remaking Earthbound Zero (the 1st one that didn't come to the US) to be included with the game. it was included in the japanese GBA release but was the NES version. The game did well in japan, I don't know about here in the states though. I know I would buy it, and a lot of my friends would too. We loved the game
