Battlefield 1942 ad, wrong gun is pictured
I hope they didn't make the mistake in the actual game, but in the ad in the May issue of Computer Games has an M14 instead of an M1 Garand. The M14 wasn't in use until after WW2
I know it seems like a minor thing, but I like accuracy in my WW2 related media

The needler is pretty cool too ... oops wrong game, wait a minute wrong millenium...
Anyway I know what you are saying, if a game is trying to be ultrarealistic and accurate they need to do their homework, including in the firearms department.

wait wait wait.. Your telling me that a mp5 wasn't around back in WW2 and shouldn't be in Battlefield 1942? This picture tells differently...
If you are having fun with that wait till you have to go up against a M1A1. Man, I would have hated to fight one of those on the grounds of germany in WW2
atleast axis has a SU-25 to fight with...
