Yet another EBay auction
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...category=11056
Final Fantasy Tactics went for $222.50
I didn't know this game was going for so much. Why? I see the Greatest hits version for $15 all over the place.
I can understand paying a lot for a rare game that you want to play but if you just want to play the game and there is another version for $15....why?

I guess for some people money isnt an issue. Ebay is like a game for some people, they just dont want to lose what theyre bidding on, not because its worth a lot but because they just want to win. If I had that kind of money, I would never lose an auction.

the crazy things are that
1. it seems genuine, the seller has positive feedback
2. a quick search pulled up SEVERAL auctions which had the orginal for well under $50.
What are the odds that two crazilly stupid rich idiots who can't lose end up bidding on the same item.
edit* I had to email the guy and ask why he would spend so much money on that game.
Maybe its a money laundering scam.

You have to understand, collectors value the original edition more than the greatest hits editions. Kind of like comic books, first printings will bring in more than second printings.
But this is way too high, if you look at completed auctions, they're going for around $30-40.
