Problems with my PS2
I bought a used PS2 and want to make sure that it is working correctly.
When first turn the unit on it does nothing until I hit the reset button and then the browser and system config screen will load up. Also it will not read a PS1 memory card in the 2nd mem card slot. Is this normal?

Turning on the unit is more than just flicking the switch in the back. You must also hit the Red Button (reset button) in order to bring the system out of "stand by" mode. To put it back in stand by mode, you just have to hold the reset button til the machine turns puts itself back in stand by mode.
Also, some PS1 games only read the memory card out of the first memory card slot. When you go to the browser, does it read the memory card there?

No the browser will not read the memory card out of slot 2. It will only read it in slot 1. It will read the PS2 memory card in slot 2. The warrenty ends tomorrow on the system and if there is something wrong I want to get it replaced while I can.

Yeah man theres definitely something wrong with your PS2. I just put a PS1 memory card in my PS2 second slot and it worked fine.
