This really is a good deal. First, the issue isn't going to be how many GBA SPs they'll have, it'll be how many copies of Driver 2 they'll have. And for a GBA title, Driver 2 is really good and worth the money, let alone getting it for free.

My guess is when they only have two copies of Driver 2 they'll start offering replacement games, and you'll get an even better deal by picking out a game you'd want to buy.

Also, do note that unless you pre-ordered the SP, it will be very difficult to get it. Nintendo didn't produce enough and alot of stores had there orders cut. My store (a videogame store mind you), will be receiving enough for pre-orders, as well as two walk-ins. So pre-order now, or go without one for a month.

It won't be difficult to get it at Target since they didn't take preorders. At least not if you go the day they get them in. I will go when they open and get mine with the free game.

So is that Sunday (3/23).... or 3/22 (Saturday)?

Actually, most of the stuff Jt has posted was true. The $15 Target coupon was the only bogus thing I remember.

I would have to agree with that. Yes, Jtnguyen12's posts are sometimes confusing due to improper spelling and/or grammer, but at least he has been posting legit deals in the last couple of months.

Also, I think people should give this guy a break about his posting style; it's pretty obvious that he does not have the best command in the English language. Yes, he probably lost credibility in many people's eyes due to the $15 coupon fiasco, but that's still no justification to slam his English at every chance.

Gamestop was giving $40 dollars for your GBA if you reserved the SP. I think it has since dropped to $35 for your GBA. It's still a good deal though.

I was interested in buying Driver so this helps me out. When is the exact date for Target to start selling them?

I just traded my GBA for a GBA:SP pre-order at EB. They gave me $40 for it. I had to get Cobalt Blue as the Platinum was out of stock.

The Sale start This upcomming Sunday 3/23/03

No bundle. Just had to buy the unit. No money out of my pocket. I'll pay the remaining $60+tax when I pick it up on Sunday.

Didn't have to have the box or manuals either. I just handed them the unit.
