Anyone else pick up this NES game?
My roommate recently purchased Sesame Street: ABC, and I dont know about your guys opinions, but this game blows, and is not worht 50 dollars, much less the 2 we payed for it. Ok, the graphics arent bad for an NES, but ****, the gameplay sucks, there are 7-8 games to choose from, all of which takes 1-2 minutes to beat each one. It involves simply spelling words for the love of god! and your reward, 2 of those crazy ass muppets( either, cookie monster, ernie, bert or a combination, or that fat **** big bird doing a solo jig) dancing while these giant sperm apparantly fly into the sky over the eifel tower and shoot into friework heaven. As for the other game, u have to lead this damn duck through a set of pipes to get to ernie's tub, where ernie then apparantly sexually degredates the damn thing, and then sends it back throught the pipes. the next level? send it between bert and ernie's tub. Bottom line: No where close to what one would expect, and no way lives up to other popular games(halo, metroid prime, gta:vc)
I would think twice before buying the game!

I would think twice before posting a thread like this. Especially since it is not quite April 1st yet. Kill it, put it out of its misery. This thread needs to die a horrible death.

My family actually owns this game, which made it all the more funny to me. We got back in the day since my brother was quite young at the time and it was suited for him. I played it with him and the review is a little harsh I think. It is fairly easy though and not a bad choice for the 5 year old crowd.

Go to [i]Deleted rom/emulation links and get the rom hack for Sesame Street ABC. It's by far the most disturbing thing I've ever seen.

I think it would have been more funny if you had gone on and on about how revolutionary and addictive the game is. Or how it really brings you into the Sesame Street World. But to say that a game designed for four year olds isn't fun for people in a higher age bracket, really isn't much of a joke.
