Zelda Game cube bonus disc
Zelda comes out on Gamecube in 2 weeks. I see many places are offering a bonus disc if you pre-order.
Do you have to pre-order or will these bonus discs be available on the street date anyway?

My Circuit City still has a stack full of them, and they're selling them rather than making it a "pre-order" thing.
They don't take your address and info, and they aren't calling you when the game comes in. But you can still bring your receipt in and use it as if you'd put down a down payment.

I ordered Wind Waker from ebgames.com and received my bonus disc today.
Tonight I'll find out what all the fuss is about. I've *NEVER* played a Zelda game before.

Yeah, I paid the extra $5 to get the bonus disc early. My total was a little over $60 IIRC ($5 for 2nd day shipping for each game, + $50 for Wind Waker itself).
I wanted to get OoT early so I could get into it a bit and get familiar with Zelda in general. I know I won't finish it before 3/24 (if at all), but I figured it would be a good intro to Zelda.

I think to fully get into Zelda, you have to have played the original 8-bit NES Zelda. The cool part of playing subsequent versions was seeing and hearing the familiar music ditties, enemies, items, etc. brought into a new generation. You know what I'm talking about if you smiled each time you heard the familiar overworld theme in the latest game.
BTW, Zelda A Link To The Past is an awesome game.
