#1 console/pc game that no one else will ave at #1
What do you think the best or most enjoyable game is ever. The one sticking point is that you doubt no one else here would share your opinion.
My PC choice would be blade/ Severance for Darkness for the aPC. Classic adventure gamew allowing you to traverse a unique world with either a barbarian, knight, amazon or dwarf. The best combat system I've evr played, as well as real time lighting, skulls and bones as weapons. It's a pity x box canceled ultimate Blade.
For console it would be a tie between outlaw golf for Xbox and atari 2600's space invaders.
I doubt anyone woulds say those

Arcade: Ms. Pac Man
PC: (digging up the oldies) Spluenker or the original Castle Wolfenstein for Commodore 64 (before the Nazi's arrived)
Console: if you judged this on hours invested it would be Goldeneye.. HANDS DOWN it had everything, solid 1 player, solid multi-player and UNLIMITED replay value.

Snatcher for Sega CD. A very rare game to get in the US, so I doubt it would be anyone elses favorite game.
One of my all time favorite PC games was the Rose Tattoo. A Sherlock Holmes interative mystery (not full motion video though) from EA. There were two games published by EA with Sherlock Holmes in the mid 90's and both were very good. The Rose Tattoo mystery was the second one and was one of my favorite point and click adventure/mystery games ever.

Final Fantasy (fill in the blank)

Okay.. seriously..
Jet Grind Radio (dramcast)
Jet Set Radio Future (xbox)
The game I bought my DC for, and the game I bought my Xbox for.

Demolition Derby (Arcade 4-Player -- Bally/Midway)
Best arcade game ever. I own it; has anyone else here played it? The MAME rom doesn't begin to do the game justice.

I may not be the only one, but at least first
Shining Force (any of them)==>my favorite games ever
If not that, then Vandal Hearts (the first one only) which is basically the same as Shining Force, with the added bonus of spouting blood.

Super Smash Brothers for N64
I'm not sure how many people still play it, but I play it still at least 2-4 times a week. I bought the Melee version for GC, but love my N64 version better. Moves at a slower pace.

Monster Party for the NES
Never played these games before, but the other day I picked up Shining Force II complete in box for $9. Read good things about it, so maybe I'll get around to playing it this year. Also picked up Phantasy Star II complete in box w/hint book for the same price, and got Might & Magic for $6.

Oids on the Atari ST
It was made by the same company that made Dungeon Master.
Oids was a lot of fun, sort of a combination asteroids/defender/scramble/lunar lander. I need to find an ST emulator that will play this game.

Wow, I see Snatcher and Herzog Zwei, 2 of the best Genesis 16bit games....
My favorite console game is gotta be Samurai Shodown for the neo (if played by 2 ppl), or Super Bomberman (SNES) for 3+ ppl.

I stomp my roommate at least once a week in it.
All time favs:
Earthworm Jim (genesis) I have no idea why I love this game so much. Pure wacky zany fun

Mr. Bones (saturn)
more wackiness
Kickle Cubicle(nintendo)
Played this game for weeks. kept it on pause when I got to the last boss because i had to go to skool and didn't want to get there again. My mom was quite pissed.
Adventures of Cookies & Cream (ps2)
probably the best co-op game i played for the ps2
soul edge (ps1)
the foundation for soul calibur, need i say more?
metal slug x (neo geo) played this all the time at the pizza parlor on my home from school

Hmm, good idea for a thread. Here are a few games that I am sure people would disagree with me about being great games.
Rolling Thunder 2, for the Sega genesis. Excellent, excellent 2 player co-op game.
James Pond 2: Robo Cod, for the Sega genesis. Great platformer with great humor.
Faery Tale, for the Sega genesis. Nice overhead rpg that first turned me on to console rpgs.
You will kill me on this one:
Simpsons Road Rage. It got panned, and yes it is a clone of Crazy Taxi, but it is great to drive around Springfield, and my girlfriend loves it. I think it could appeal to a wider demographic.
