I've been trying to order this from a place where I had store credit, like FYE or Sam Goody, but they have not been able to help me. So I went ahead and took the plunge with BB. Ordered it like 2 days ago and received shipping notice today.

Got mine from BB.

Love it.

Worth $200? Not sure. Once I finish all the missions I might sell it on ebay, especially considering it looks like people are making a profit on it over there.

Played SB over at a friends house last weekend when he finally got his order in. Pretty cool game, but not worth $200, unless you are a die-hard mech fan or collector. It was pretty easy getting used to the controls, but the controller didn't feel very sturdy. The graphics are pretty horrid, and I don't like that the control panel takes up so much of the screen.

I thought I read in a review some where that the graphics in the beginning were bad, to simulate the "low rent" mech you started with, but once you upgraded mechs, the grainy picture got better, and the control panel got smaller, allowing for a better view?

The graphics are breathtaking - except for the cut-scenes with people - those are terrible. Understandable since they used the same game engine for the cut scenes, but it was just a joke. Once you enter the mech, it's incredible. Some mechs have black and white screens and bad resolution and stuff while others have better screens. The controller is rock solid - maybe he didn't put it together right.
