Sega GBA titles marked down to $20 at TRU B&M and Online
Not sure if it's been posted before but I found these titles marked down to $20 at my local TRU:
-Virtua Tennis
-Phantasy Star Collection
-Altered Beast
-Revenge of Shinobi
added
-Pinball of the Dead
Not sure if anything else was cheaper. I just noticed those cause I had my eye on getting them for awhile. Rocky was also $20. PSC is a great buy at $20, it was on sale at CC a couple weeks ago for $22.
edit- Also wanted to mention that it's the same prices at TRU's online store as well.

I've wanted both Virtua Tennis and Pinball OTD for a while. May have to stop by there...

Is Phantasy Star Collection worth $20? I heard they were sort of "unlovingly" dumped on a cartridge with nothing like temporary save, etc., even though they claim that the games were completely rewritten for the GBA. I mean, I might get it anyway, but...
Oh, and I've heard that the game actually crashes about every 1 in 12 saves.
Personally, I don't know why they didn't splurge for the extra space and put Phantasy Star IV on there.

There is a bug in Phantasy Star Collection, but only on the original Phantasy Star. If you try to save the game while the music is looping, it'll crash (though it won't lose your last save, it won't save the new data). To prevent this from happening, the safest thing to do is exit a house or enter a new area before saving (as the music starts over)
The games weren't completely rewritten... they made two emulators for the GBA (a Master System one for PS1 and a Genesis one for the others) and put the games on. Sure, being able to save anywhere would be an advantage, and I really wish they put a mapping system in those ridiculous PS1 dungeons, but it's still 3 classic games for 20 bucks. Even if you plan on getting the Playstation remakes, these are worth having just because they're portable.
And yeah, I wish they included PSIV, since I never could've afforded it back then. But each of these games retailed for at least 50 a piece when they came out, if not more. You'll easily spend 30 or so hours on each one. And I'm hoping this starts a trend... Breath of Fire, for example, didn't need to take up a whole GBA cart by itself, but they milked it.
