Fear Effect: Inferno
This game really caught my attention at last year's E3... it looks amazing graphically. Game Informer had a feature article about it this month. IGN has the E3 trailer which really blew my mind... it's like Silent Hill on steroids and looking like an intense psycho anime.

Is this the sequel to the PS1 Fear Effect games? Still looks like this is still only cut scenes.

does anyone know the release date for this? i checked ebgames and even asked the clerk at software etc and found nothing. amazon says may 18, though. loved the first two games so i'm really anticipating this one. i know that game informer had an article and some pictures but i missed that issue. news about this game seems scarce...anybody have any additional info or websites to check out? thanks a lot!

I was flipping through GameInformer and I saw a 4-page article on this. Looks interesting, but I hope that the developers don't forget to put good gameplay in there after ensuring the presence of gratuitous T&A. One quote from Gamespot's preview:
Oh, no... the ever-present tentacle assault! *eek*

Fear Effect 1 and 2 were pretty sick games in terms of grotesque violence. If I recall FE2 also had some sort of and I quote, "lesbian" scene, in it as well (even though that isn't the sick part i was referring to
).

I loved part 1. Had to use a gameshark tho there were some tuff bosses. Part 2 was cool but I only got half way and then my ps1 gave out I never got to finish it. That depresses me. But I'm very much looking up to this game. There is nothing better than 2 very hot lesbians with guns fight zombies corps and stuff like that. All the great elements for a great game.
