Some pretty good deals there. I like it how they have a lot of PS2 greatest hits titles in the "blowout" sale for $19.99. Last time I checked, that was normal price...

Is Dues Ex: The Conspiracy any good? It looked like a good price there.

I might pick up "The Thing" for Xbox. I remember that getting decent reviews, and I like survival horror type games...

It's much better on the PC (it's just called Deus Ex on the PC) and you can find it for just as cheap or cheaper.

FYI, if you pick up The Thing for the Xbox use the $5 off coupon on the January Winter clearance coupon sheet. Most EB stores have them in their stores. Then you get The Thing for only $14.99. I did this yesterday. This makes the deal even sweeter. Thanks for the update on EB. They are really cutting prices on older games!!

Damn... a lot of those games were $49.99 mere months ago. I guess it pays to have patience.

HUNTER THE RECKONING is now $9.99 for the GameCube? Is it really that bad of a game?

If you like games like gauntlet, then you will definetly like Hunter.....Its fun as a single player game, but i think the game shines as a multi-player game.....Definetly worth the 10 bucks, and a steal for $5(although i think the coupon is dead)

Update: EbGames has Gamecube: Rogue Leader for $19.99. If you go to a B&M and use the $10 off coupon in their January coupon flyer, you'll get the game for only $9.99. The coupon expires today.

I've got it on the cube and I'm liking it. The initial missions in the swamp kind were not as good as the Nazi fighting missions.

Some Best Buy's have the strategy guides for Blood Rayne for all platforms for $0.01 (I don't usually buy what I get free on the net, but for $0.01 it's nice to have the book)...

Last day for the winter coupons. I picked up Rogue Leader for $9.99 and Hunter for $5. The guys behind the counter were suprised, one of them actually had to return his copy of hunter then rebuy it. Go figure.

Now I'm waiting for Feb08 when the GameCube deal with the free game kicks in.

I liked it too--at least for the price. Though the physics of the game make no sense: how do those boobs bounce when the character standing still? Maybe it's a vampire thing.

Damn.

Is it more like a Tomb Raider, or Soul Reaver?

More like Soul Reaver in the sense that there are no puzzles in this game: it is a straight hack-everything-you-see-to-pieces game. The voice acting is horrible, though. It's like a B-movie but in the form of a video game.

Thunderball: Go to a B&M to buy this game. It could be 14.99 in store as well (if not it will be 19.99); use the coupon in one of the flyers next to the cashier to get a mail in $20 voucher.
