I forgot what it stands for (Robot Alchemic Dynamo or some such) but it’s basically sort of like Neon Genesis Evangelion meets War of the Monsters. You’re like this little “hero kid” who controls a giant robot. The kicker is: you can’t pilot the robot from inside so either you stand on its shoulder (ala Hogarth Hughes) or some tall building or in the very midst of battle because the fight is always staged from the point of view of the kid. If the battle moves away from you your robot guy gets so tiny that you can’t see what the heck is happening. You’re always having to switch back to the kid to run or fly (these kids can fly short distances) to a better vantage point and the kid can get squashed (squirting out red pixels) which is why the ideal position of being on the robot’s shoulder or head is not such a good idea.
The controls are really hard to get used (esp. just walking) but I kinda thought that added to the charm. It was like controlling a robot not a Tekken 2 guy.
I don’t have it, but I wonder if I’d get really sick of it later. Right now I really dig it.
Plus there’s two player battles but I only have one controller.

I was interested cause it sounded interesting, but the god aweful dub and no bilingual voice option forced me to put my $50 elsewhere. The game is on CD format. No reason to not make it on DVD to have bilingual voices, which is extremely important to me as one of the deciding factors whether I will spend or not.

That dubbing did bite ass! (I mean a cross between a donkey and a mule, mods. )
I just thought the graphics were kinda sweet when it got to the actual robot fighting. What annoyed me, now that I think of it, was that: you're about to throw a punch, or do something else spontaneous to save your frakkin' life, and the little dialogue window pops up, telling you what you should be doing, freezes you and basically kills you.
