Help with S-video- Xbox

I need some help please. I would like to connect my Xbox to my TV using one of my s-video inputs. I was leaning towards buying the official MS advanced A/V pack until I stumbled upon a product from Interact which offered s-video and composite connections for all the consoles for $7.99. Anyone tried both of these? Is there a big difference? And will using the Interact connection void my warranty on the Xbox? I read the manual on that and thought I got a pretty clear answer but maybe someone has more knowledge than the manual provides.

The interact cables should be just as good. They won't (and can't) void your warranty. How would anyone know if you use non-MS cables? You aren't modifying or opening the box.

Using it on my GC and it looks fine.

And as stated by spasmolytic they will NOT void your warranty.

The only pain is you wind up having a cord with several "extra" connectors on it, instead of just the one you really need.

I have it for the xbox and I also had the advanced av pack and there is no difference in video quality whatsoever.

2 questions.

Will it take multiple connections? Can I hook Xbox & PS2 using 1 component( or S-video) cable?

Can I use digital audio cables with it or RCA cables only?

I don't know about it being able to take multiple connections because I only have an xbox, but it doesn't hurt to try it.
